"If the same weather patterns hold up as they have been, we could see Ike making a port of call in New Orleans in about a week and a half, according to advanced military meteorologic computer models not yet released to the public. Whether or not this would transform into a strong hurricane is anyone’s guess at this point, but as we begin the cleanup from Gustav, we should keep systems like Ike in the back of our minds."
