New York-based artist Wayne Gonzales was born and raised in St. Bernard Parish. His powerful exhibition of paintings, Light to Dark/Dark to Light opens this Friday, October 7th at the New Orleans Museum of Art from 6 to 9pm.
The museum will host a public program featuring a discussion between Gonzales and curator Miranda Lash on Friday, December 9th at 6pm.
The new series includes “the fine art of repair” made throughout the CAC.
His exhibition, BOYS/BUNNIES, SINGLES/DOUBLES opens September 1st from 6-9pm at Isaac Delgado Fine Arts Gallery located at 615 City Park Ave., Bldg 1, 3rd Flr.

The Ogden Museum of Southern Art presents Mississippi Photographs, 1860s-Present. It takes a look back at 150 years of the state’s history and natural beauty through the lens of thirty-one photographers. The exhibition closes September 17th.
