New York-based artist Wayne Gonzales was born and raised in St. Bernard Parish.  His powerful exhibition of paintings, Light to Dark/Dark to Light opens this Friday, October 7th at the New Orleans Museum of Art from 6 to 9pm.

The museum will host a public program featuring a discussion between Gonzales and curator Miranda Lash on Friday, December 9th at 6pm.

New Orleans-based artist Alex Podesta creates larger than life-sized characters inspired by childhood memories. He is also a member of the Front.

His exhibition, BOYS/BUNNIES, SINGLES/DOUBLES opens September 1st from 6-9pm at Isaac Delgado Fine Arts Gallery located at 615 City Park Ave., Bldg 1, 3rd Flr.
